when someone asked you a qns, how much do you reply?

i mean, the ideal one is of course ans more then you're being asked and the party is interested in whatever you're talking.

However....

if you just ans what the person ask, wouldn't the other party think you're a bore?

and you can't continue the conversation?

or asked more qns to probe further which u know will definitely irritate you?

but if you go on, wouldn't you bore the person out if he/she/it is not interested in the topic?

but what if you're busy answering the qns that you have no time to get to know more about the other party just because the other party just keeps asking you some crap?
