The section I/C answered,"finish him with my SAR-21."
The OC ask,"Why you kill your own soldier??!"

The sun was setting in tekong while the OC introduced us to the concept of light discipline. We need to be tactical with our movements so that the enemy can't see us.
In one corner, the section I/C was attaching sparklers onto his helmet. The OC was furious and lit up one of them. It gave off blue sparks. He asked the I/C furiously,"Why are you attaching sparklers on your head gear?"
The I/C answered..."coz double-damage'

I was teaching the idea of cover & concealment. During my introduction session, I asked my recruits,"Why do you think that by cutting trees, you will increase your chance of survival in the jungle?"
My section I/C answered..."coz eat trees can restore 4HP/sec, up to 100HP."

I supervised a section during their fire movement exercise. During this exercise, they had to engage a 3-man group. I noticed that the section I/C did not use up all his rounds while engaging the enemy. Also, I noticed that only when the enemy (target-board) was already shot, would he engage the target.
I singled him out during lunch to ask why he did not fire as frequently as his team, anticipating ideas like 'IA" or 'not enough rounds'.
but...My section I/C answered..."i want to last-hit'.

Today's a bad day. I had to charge my section I/C for insurbordination. He refused to take off his bayonet from his M-16 when we were doing a fire-movement exercise.
I asked him why he didn't listen to me, although he knew that the sharp object was dangerous during this training activity...
My section I/C answered,"That's my blink dagger."

The whole company got a shock when the OC said that we had to march back to BMTC. My section I/C was furious too, but he said he had a plan. He opened his fieldpack and asked me to peek into it.
I took a brief peek and saw 7 pairs of wings, made of goose feathers, one for each member of his section. "This should be good for the march later, even though they are marching on an empty stomach."
I was furious,"So why did you do this? You think this could make them fly?"
My section I/C answered,"No, this will get them their Boots of Travel. Movement speed +70. I want to go back to BMTC early also"
He even offered me one pair.

I saw my section I/C fishing out 3 eyeballs and attaching them onto a basha stick. Those were fish eyeballs he collected from his last bookout.
He planted them at 3 very strategic locations...the entrance of our base camp, the training shed and the ammo dump. I was furious as they looked disgusting and were unnecessary, but being understanding, I asked him why he did that.
My section I/C answered,"Those are sentry wards...so I don't have to do guard tonight.

We were having a lesson on estimating distance of enemy. Just before the lesson ends, My recruits asked the section I/C,"So how do you tell your platoon how to locate the enemy so that they know which direction to point their weapon?"
My section I/C answered,"I'll ping you."

I asked my section I/C to bring his men to the next forest. His men would be the 'enemy' as I had to simulate an attack mission for the new recruits. I told him,"Try to conceal your position and attack this section by surprise."
He said okay and told me he had a solution. He reached into his pocket and pulled out 7 butterflies. I was curious there was one for each member.
My section I/C answered,"Butterfly. +25% evasion. Sure cannot see one."

It's the last day of field camp and it was time for water-parade. So I told the section I/C to collect 7 jerry-cans for my platoon.
After 10 minutes, I realised they are not back yet. I called my section I/C to see if everything's okay.
My section I/C answered,"They still regen HP. The fountain of health can only accomodate 5 men at a time."
I told him,"Better hurry up, enemy coming already"
He replied,"Don't worry, the fountain will fire at the enemy if it sees one."
Today is enlistment day, and i'm taking charge of platoon 4 of some company...
We were asked to assemble our LBVs to prepare for our IFC, which is happening next week. I told them to bring down all 7 pouches - 4 ammo pouches; 2 for grenades and the huge one for the field rations.
During the assembly, I asked my platoon,"What is the no. of pouches you can carry on your LBV?" I wanted to introduce to them that the LBV is fully customisable depending on the soldier.
However, my section I/C answered,"Only 6 items"
I asked him a trick question to counter his answer,"Then what if you have more?"
He told me,"Make sure you buy the correct recipe."

After the fire-fight exercise, I told my section I/C to count the number of men to ensure that all of them are accounted for.
He counted and reported back,"Sir, Total strength 7, current strength 6."
I asked him,"Where's the last one?"
My section I/C answered,"He lag out. Told him to switch to Starhub but he didn't listen."
Today is live range, and i'm taking charge of platoon 4 of some company...
I briefed my platoon on snap targets. They appear only for 3 seconds and will not be seen after that. I advised them to take aim and pull the trigger fast enough so that you won't miss the shot.
My section I/C said that it's impossible to get marksman using my method of aiming. I asked him why.
My section I/C answered,"Marksman need 5 seconds to take aim. Target also must be within 1200 range."
Today is the day you meet your wife, and i'm taking charge of platoon 4 of some company...
Tonight, they will obtain their arms from me. I feel that it's good that they know the significance of this ritual. I talked to my section I/C about it...but he was pondering over something unusual. Being an understanding PC, I asked him what's up.
My section I/C asked why is there only 1 bayonet, not 2, per M-16 rifle.
I explained to him that it's the only side arm you'll need. Besides, it's fixed onto the rifle. I asked him why does he need 2?
My section I/C answered,"They are Sange & Yasha. Increases attack speed and movement speed. 3G soldiers should all get one pair."

We were sitting down, reflecting on the failed attack mission that we just had. I was disappointed with my section for such a poor performance. only 2 of 7 soldiers survived the attack mission.
I asked the section I/C why he did not retreat when he saw danger.
My section I/C answered,"I told them to. I said 'back', but nobody was listening to me."
Today is IPPT training day 1, and i'm taking charge of platoon 4 of some company...
I was telling my recruits that you need to be fit and well-built so that you can handle the physical challenges outfield.
My section I/C disagreed. I asked him then, how do you expect your ideal soldier to be.
My section I/C answered,"Fat. Liddat then imba."

After 3 days of bashing, we are finally reaching our checkpoint. But there's just one last task left to do - river crossing.
I asked the section I/C to prepare the equipment for our task, but he was hesitant on doing so. I asked him why? It was getting dark and we had not much time so I was quite worried.
My section I/C answered,"Wait out, Sir. I'm waiting for the rune. If it's Haste then we all benefit. If it's DD...better to take it before the enemy does."

After a long morning, I decided to have lunch at a quiet place, away from my men to reflect on this morning's attack mission. I was searching for a remote spot in the forest when I bumped into my section I/C, on guard, staring at a bunch of trees.
Looking puzzled, I approached him and asked,"Why are you standing like that, prepared to attack a tree?"
My section I/C answered, quietly,"SHH! I'm waiting for the neutral creeps to spawn. It should be any minute now, free gold and EXP! I need to level up to 2SG and pump skill...cannot siam fast enough..."
