laptop has been sent for servicing on sunday. just received a call from the technician informing me that they'll be doing more analysis as they didn't encounter the problems that i had. maybe it's because my laptop has aged thus the refusal to be turn on whenever there's work which needs to be done. report due in 13 days time and they told me they are requiring more time for the analysis.
the AACR has finally come to an end. not really content with the results as it's rather bias. as some people who didn't understand instructions, grading criteria were actually changed; from content base to presentation skills. approach between two streams were definitely different as one were textbooks based and i'm not very sure if they do understand as the points were erronous. points such as 'angiogenesis and metastasis would result in malignant tumors'. can't believe they actually said that. whats more absurd is that they didn't even know that cancer is not cause by a singale factor but instead, it's a series of genetic changes. oh well.. what can i say. some people just don't practice what they preach. what's with giving equal opportunities to student from different stream? pure bullshit. comprising others so as to give some groups a better chance. they must really get a life if they know that they have a disadvantage as what they know is just what people told them as compared to those who understands and are able to relate to other applications.
congrats to Mok for getting gold in the ASEAN triathalon. pretty proud of him. guess things are really different though we train under the same coach, i think. no idea if i should look him up as a role model or should i give up running. felt that i'm not improving and on the contrary, it seems harder and harder to run each time i try.
