Forgive my ignorant post awhile ago. not only was the flag down price of taxi increased, but the meter jumps twice as fast. for more information, please refer to Mr.Brown's blog. He even calculated the price. I guess that's how people are. Taxi drivers are just the victims of price hikes, with lesser customer but the same rentals.
just like how waiters are. the lowest in the food web; you get screw around by both the customers as well as other non-floor staff. lol. for instance, there was a delay in the serving of food, so the customer throws some sarcasm or nasty remarks. all the waiter can do is just ask the kitchen and ta~da! you get screw by them too. i wonder if the author of waiter's rant has ever smiled at his customer and yet inside him, he just wants him dead =X well. i do have the thought. screw them. sometimes, when people complain about bad service, i think that everyone who reads that needs a new review; if it is because of bad customer hence the bad service? call this karma.
but not every customer's that bad. there are some pretty understanding ones. these people are those that don't mind leaving some tips to reimburse for the low pay. 50 cents help too eh. imagine chalking up a bill of more then $30 and making life difficult for the customer. sometimes, a simple but sincere thanks will do too, i guess =X
